Minute repeater on two steel gongs, single push-piece chronograph, split-seconds chronograph and a 30-minute recorder on a subsidiary dial at 12. Silver guilloché engine-turned dial with Roman numerals. Case back engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with the cypher « A.E.D. ». Très belle et rare montre de poche à remontage au pendant en or rose 18k (750). Quatre complications horlogères. The first: The balance oscillates when wound, but the movement will need to be serviced. The dial has spotting towards the outer edges, but the printing to the signature and subsidiary seconds are well preserved. The case has light scratches and a small dent to the concealed hinge. The monogram reads, ARP. The case is numbered 60409, the cuvette reads, Allan Rogers Phipps/ October 3, 1933. The movement is numbered 38293..The second: The balance does not oscillate when wound, the watch does not function and will need an overhaul. The dial has some light scratches, there are a couple minute chips to the outer edge of the dial near 3 o'clock, but only visible when the bezel is opened. There are light scratches to the case.
