Yonel Lebovici
Important prototype of a pair of wall sconces "Eyes without face" signed Yonel Lebovici of 1981. The structure is in steel tube lacquered with a black epoxy paint, the reflector in steel sphere lacquered with black epoxy and white interior, the cutting of the eyes is in pmma (Plexiglas), lighting with incandescent bulb with silver cap of 25w E27. This is the only model (prototype) in the form of sconces of the series "Eyes without Face" then developed into a floor lamp with two eyes in steel, limited to 20 copies + 4 AP, which became one of the most iconic model of Lebovici. Yonel Lebovici has fun with everyday objects by diverting them and turning them into real sculptures. Here the faceless eyes are no longer wall lights but real works of art illuminated. It will be the same for the floor lamp "Pin to nurse", floor lamp "Trombone" or floor lamp "Fiche male".
