Exceptional Mellerio tiara end of the 19th century in yellow gold, in silver, in metal and in diamonds, elegantly set with 389 old European cut diamonds and rose cut diamonds for a total of about 27,50 carats, composed of one elegant sleeve in yellow gold and in silver, decorated with florals hemstitched patterns that can be formed a bracelet, enhanced with polylobed removable patterns at the ends transformables in a brooch, with one removable tortoiseshell comb (Sea turtle spp).

Very good condition: , superb patina, superb shine of the diamonds, very beautiful condition of the polish.

The removable comb present on this Mellerio transformation tiara appears to be made from parts and fragments of Sea turtle spp. scales from the Cheloniidae spp. family. The Sea turtle scale elements predate 1 June 1947, given the parameters set out above, its manufacture and the fact that it dates from the end of the 19th century. This specimen is classified in Annex I of the Washington Convention, in Annex A of European Community Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996, and in the French Environment Code. To leave the EU, a CITES re-export permit will be required.
