Winstanley, Holywell The hood with swan-neck pediment over ornamentally turned free-standing columns, the trunk with reeded quarter columns, cross-banded door with shaped top on a rectangular base and skirted plinth, the 14 inch signed dial with moonphase to the arch floral and gilt gesso spandrels, Roman and Arabic chapters, subsidiary seconds and calendar aperture with two painted peacocks to the centre on a signed falseplate to the weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell 227cm (7ft5.5in) high.
