Descripción : Whitehurst, Derby, the plate stamped Whitehust & Son The arched hood with simple concave moulding supported on turned columns over a moulded throat and mahogany band, the trunk door with canted corners flanked by reeded quarter columns, on a round-bottomed base, the signed silvered 13-inch dial with three subsidiaries, the uppermost entitled to its centre 'ENGINE TIME' with Roman numerals set over an identical subsidiary giving mean time, to the left is a dial with inner scale from 1-10 and an outer measuring 0-100, the weight driven movement with shouldered plates with four turned pillars and anchor escapement.152cm(5ft)long.

(13ins.) high
