L922.1 laminated nickel-finished lever movement, 43 jewels, finely hand-engraved balance bridge, swan neck regulator, 21K gold micro-rotor with platinum rim, silvered dial, applied Roman numerals with luminous dots, luminous hands, outer railway minute divisions, large double window for date, three subsidiary dials for week and 24 hour display, month and leap year, constant seconds and moon phases, large circular case, calendar change button in the band, glazed display back secured by six screws, platinum A. Once correctly set, the date display remains accurate until the next secular year occurs: on 28 February 2100, it will need to be advanced by only one day. The moon phase mechanism is also stunningly accurate: after 122.6 years of uninterrupted operation, it deviates from synodic lunation by merely one day..Lange's patented zero-reset mechanism simplifies the synchronization of the watch with a time signal.
