House Poiray was created in 1974 by François and Michel Hermelin Herail. It is one of the last houses of jewelry and luxury watch to have joined the circle of houses in the Place Vendôme, and as such was nicknamed "The girl from the Place Vendôme." In 1985, Nathalie Hocq happens within the company and began a collaboration with François Herail.
