In 1955, Rolex launched the present reference 6610 featuring the now famous caliber 1030 which allowed for a slimmer case design in comparison to previous bubble back profiles.The present watch was produced in 1956 and features a charming dial variation including the 'Officially Certified Chronometer' signature, which became a defining feature in later Explorer references such as the 1016, and more interestingly the dial also features a red depth rating, creating a mesmerising contrast against the black dial and the Arabic numerals.Additional Notices & DisclaimersPlease note that Condition 12 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers is not applicable to this lot.
