Lange & Söhne 's very first mechanical wristwatch with a digital time display format using jumping numerals for a precise reading. At the centre of the display, the time bridge that is part of the movement, is also the frame for all time indications..In the Zeitwerk Luminous model, the difficulty was to allow enough daylight to charge the numerals for the night display. Indeed, contrary to classic time display through hands, the jumping hours and minutes system are mostly hidden underneath the dial.
